Picnic Concert in the Gallery: Performance by RONiiA
Bring your lunch, a blanket and some friends to spend an hour immersed in the arts!
The public was invited to enjoy a lunchtime concert with the group RONiiA, who performed beneath "Writha," the sculpture installation by Billy Joe Miller in the exhibition At Home in the World.
RONiiA is electronic music stripped of its gloss, a smoky dust storm full of nostalgia, uncertainty and resigned rebellion that yearns for something lighter in a brutal world. Performing under Miller's giant wreath made of local found materials, RONiiA's music will evoke soundscapes of the high desert and their connection to the Southwest.
$5 – $10 suggested donation at the door to support the band's traveling expenses.
