516 ARTS presents Decolonizing Nature, a pop-up exhibition in conjunction with the environmental justice conference titled Decolonizing Nature: Resistence, Resilience, Revitalization. The exhibition focuses in on artists working in film, video, photography and printmaking, exploring different styles and approaches to environmental activism.
The conference delves into recent advances in arts, architecture, humanities, religion and sciences, to address climate change and other anthropogenic crises that are rapidly degrading Earth’s life-sustaining ecological fabric. This gathering is an opportunity to discuss, debate and deliberate on building creative alliances for environmental conservation and sustainability for all living beings.
