Master the elusive art of transferring images to create striking work in this unique workshop, which combines the arts of painting and applied imagery. We cover the basics of working with acrylic paints to establish powerful substrates (underlying layers) that allow you to build images through collage and different transfer techniques. Students learn several approaches to working with paint, as well as basic adhesion techniques and multiple transfer processes. Along with photographs, you are encouraged to use any combination of mixed media to produce the collaged pieces that will build the final finished images.
