Jamison Edgar

Jamison Edgar is a visual artist working between Atlanta, Georgia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvani. His interdisciplinary projects abstract historical records and cultural memories in an effort to expose the complex machinery behind processes of equity, visibility, and suppression. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Art (MFA ’20), he has shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States as well as London, Berlin, Singapore, and Budapest, and he has been invited as artist in residence at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, Pilotenkueche International ArtsProgram, and D’Clinic. They have been supported by the Frank-Ratchye Fund for Art at the Frontier, The Carnegie Mellon School of Fine Art, and The Pittsburgh Interdisciplinary Art Grant.
